Klesick Family Farm | Organic by Choice

I recently watched a video on Facebook from Klesick Farms & was quite moved. We order a “Box of Good” each week to support farms, eat healthy, & because I believe local & organic produce is best. There are so many people around me struggling with illness & I have to believe some of the illnesses in our country stem from what we eat or don’t for that matter! I remind my kiddos constantly to eat their vegetables & we live it as an example to them. For vegetables they don’t like to eat (kale, chard, some varieties of spinach, beets, etc. ) I put them in their “smoothie” & they drink it up like a milkshake. One of the best smoothies consist of spinach, dinosaur kale, blueberries, a banana, & almond milk, keifir, or yogurt. Klesick Farmily Farm provides the majority of these vegetables & I’m very pleased with their quality, service (they drop my box to my doorstep every week!), & their down-to-earth, friendliness.

I rarely do a “vendor spotlight” that has nothing to do with photography, but I couldn’t help myself with how great of a business they are. I would like to think I strive to serve my wedding & portrait clients the way they serve me…integrity, fresh ideas, & quality!

Little Red Tricycle | Snohomish Children’s Photographer

Capturing the little red tricycle in the studio is so much fun. It’s such a hit for little boys & girls! Oliver is no exception! He was immediately drawn to it & like his little feet communicate, he was completely comfortable. I love capturing kiddos especially when they just begin to walk. They are excited about being busy but are still willing to sit & explore something new.

I’ve been capturing Oliver since he was born. The first moments in the hospital as a tiny baby, to a toddler with a tricycle; I’m so blessed to do what I love!

Geno’s 4 months old! | Redmond Children’s Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing baby Geno recently. He’s a true Gerber baby…cuddly, cute, & his eyes…I get lost in them! Four month baby sittings are the best. Babies are alert, not quite mobile yet, but so smiley! His smiles warmed my heart the entire time he hung out. Baby boys are a delight!

Baby Geno’s Dad joined us for a few images & stole my heart with his love for his son. Can you tell how smitten he is with him? These are the images that truly move me. When a man becomes a Daddy & his son or daughter steals his heart.

A Snowy Greenlake Engagement Seattle Wedding Photographer

I love shooting in the snow! I’m not sure if it’s because we normally don’t get a lot of it in Seattle or if it’s like anything else that’s new or unique. It inspires me! We met Aaron & Sandra at Greenlake in Seattle & explored what my hopes were a winter wonderland. We were quite shocked by the lack of snow & white. It was really anything but a winter wonderland! We rescheduled to the next day & winter came just like we hoped about 30 minutes north near Snohomish. Such a difference! We had fun exploring & really enjoyed getting to know each other.

Aaron & Sandra are fun, really know how to be themselves, & are genuinely a very sweet couple! We really enjoyed getting to know them more. Their March wedding at the Monte Cristo Ballroom in Everett will be fantastic! I love themed weddings & there is nothing better than a masquerade theme!

It was such an honor to shoot the wedding of someone who is active military on 11-11-11! The groom is active in the Army while his new wife, serves as a civilian for the Army. As far as I’m concerned, I would say they both serve our country! Knowing military wives personally, I know often times they make the ultimate sacrifice here at home.

I’ve never shot a wedding that I got chills down my spine reflecting on the fact they serve me everyday compared to my serving them one day. It’s truly humbling. As I enjoy peace & freedom in the United States, they are sacrificing on my behalf.

This was my first holiday wedding! I would have to say I LOVE holiday weddings. The themes that go along with winter weddings, holiday weddings, etc. are great! I love how Jeff & Debra incorporated red, white, & blue to tie in their theme of Veteran’s Day! It was all perfect!

Even the bouquets went with their theme!

The girls got ready at Gene Juarez & First Congressional Church. Debra was a stunning bride!!! Her dress was so beautiful & unique (the bottom was separate & attached to a reception style wedding dress to make it more formal). Her shoes…my favorite! Not only did she rock these heels but they’re gorgeous navy blue!

Jeff & Debra are both very genuine & sweet. The way Jeff lit up when Debra walked out for the first look was so special! You can tell he’s landed himself a beautiful & intelligent woman & he’s so grateful for her in his life. I love couples that really know that & savor each other. So important for a healthy marriage!

First Congregational had gorgeous details & really looked good for it’s many years of service. It’s one of the oldest churches in Tacoma (1874). The ceremony was filled with warmth from other active military, friends & family there to show support.

We shot a few images in Wright Park between a huge rain & wind storm. To say the least, it was a stormy wedding day. Everyone handled it beautifully with the chilling temps & the crazy weather. I felt so bad for the ladies who had to take off their coats off to do pictures. They were freezing!

We headed to the Elks Lodge & enjoyed a beautiful reception with many heart felt stories, speeches, & moments. Debra & Jeff really displayed how much they adore each other & their friends & families. It was a great celebration filled with much laughter, emotion, & joy!

Thank you Jeff & Debra! We really had a phenomenal time capturing your special day. Thank you for your service & what you have done to keep us America; The Land of the Free!
